  • Around 5,400 women will be given vocational training from home according to the requirements of the market.
  • Along with this, e-commerce training, including Daraz and Shopify, English language, product research and financial literacy will also be taught.
  • Trainee women will be given a free laptop, internet device, data package and a monthly stipend.
  • Hospitality trainee women will be taught baking, guest relations, front desk management and airline management.
  • Around 2,100 trainee women will be given a six month digital skill training course in collaboration with PSDF (Punjab Skills Development Fund).

It is important to clarify here that this stipend, laptop and internet package are specifically for the Digital Skills Training Program. The Beautician and Hospitality courses mentioned above do not include any stipend or device. In those two courses, you will be called to the institute and all relevant facilities will be provided there.

  • Originally only rural women of Punjab could apply, but as per the latest update, 10 percent urban women have also been included.

How to Apply for the SEHR Program

Step 1: Download the WomenFirst App

Open the Play Store on your mobile phone. Tap on the search bar and search for the WomenFirst application.

Install the app, and once it is installed, tap on Open. The application interface will then open in front of you.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Since you are installing this application for the first time, tap on the Register Now button. As soon as you tap on it, a Create Account application form will open. Fill in the following details.

  • Full Name. This should be exactly the same as the name written on your CNIC.
  • CNIC number.
  • Mobile number. Make sure to enter a mobile number that is active and currently in use.
  • Active email address.
  • District. Tap on the district field and select your district from Punjab.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Complete address. This should either match your CNIC or be the address where you are currently residing.

Once all the details are added, tap on the Register Now button. You will see a message confirming that your account has been created successfully and that you have registered successfully.

Step 3: Log In to Your Account

After registration, a login form will open. Enter the same CNIC number and mobile number that you used while registering, then tap on the Login button. Once you tap Login, you will see a message saying Success, Log In Successful. Tap on the OK button.

Step 4: Select the SEHR Option

You will now see the account dashboard of the Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab. Here, several different initiatives will appear, such as Working Women Hostel, Youth Page, and Female Ambassador Program. At the fifth number, you will see SEHR written. Tap on this fifth option.

Step 5: Choose Your Preferred Training Program

A new page will open showing SEHR Program, Skill Enhancement Through Home Reach. Home Reach means that courses will be conducted while staying at home.
