Eligibility and Qualification Requirements
College Level (Higher Secondary / Inter Level)
Teachers applying for college-level or higher secondary school positions must have a minimum of 18 years of education in the relevant subject. In practical terms, this means you need an MPhil degree.
Senior School Teachers (SST) and Elementary School Teachers (EST)
For secondary school level (Grade 9–10) and elementary school level (up to Grade 7), both male and female candidates can apply.
The required qualification is 16 years of education, which includes an MA, MSc, or a 4-year BS degree in the relevant subject.
Pre-Junior / Montessori School
Only female candidates can apply for pre-junior school positions. The requirement is 16 years of education along with a Montessori or Pre-School diploma.
APS for International Studies (Cambridge Level)
Both male and female candidates can apply for Cambridge O-Level teaching positions. Requirements include:
- 16 years of education in the relevant subject
- O/A Level background
- 5 years of teaching experience at a Cambridge institution where O-Levels were taught
Note: The 5-year experience requirement applies only to the international/Cambridge section. For secondary school, elementary school, and college-level positions, no prior experience is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
General Application Conditions
- Your degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.
- Education up to graduation must have been completed as a regular student.
- Candidates who are awaiting their result can also apply, but must attach a Hope Certificate from their university.
- Good communication skills in both English and Urdu are required.
- Having an MEd or BEd degree is an added advantage and will be given preference, though it is not mandatory. If you have it, make sure to attach it with your application.
